A total of 44 PASOK lawmakers on Tuesday asked for a report on the state of Greek banks by a US auditing firm to be submitted to Parliament.

BlackRock Solutions, a unit of money manager BlackRock Inc, spent several months reviewing banks’ provisioning policies to see whether they have set aside enough for bad loans.

The report, which was commissioned by the Bank of Greece, concluded that Greek lenders need another 15 billion euros of funding.
