Eurozone finance ministers, also known as the Eurogroup, will meet in Brussels on Thursday at 15.00 p.m. to discuss Greece and decide whether it has fulfilled the conditions for the latest rescue package.
Athens is widely expected to get the green light for the bailout.
Ministers are also expected to assess progress on a massive debt restructuring scheme designed to knock 107 billion euros off the country’s debt held by banks and other private investors, also known as PSI.
Later on Thursday, leaders of the euro area will gather in Brussels to discuss the European economy. A formal eurozone summit was cancelled after German reluctance to discuss the size of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM).
The topic will not be discussed until, at the earliest, the next scheduled meeting of eurozone finance ministers in Brussels on March 12.
