Kerkyra spoils Olympiakos's party

Struggling Kerkyra upset Super League champion Olympiakos with a 1-0 win at Piraeus on Sunday to spoil the Reds' party for winning the title.

For the Corfu team, victory could not have come at a better time as it revived its chances of survival. It has veteran striker Ilias Ioannou to thank for a wonderful strike nine minutes from time.

Olympiakos fans booed their own players off the pitch.

Panathinaikos, in second, came to three wins out of three after the abandoned derby with Olympiakos, defeating visiting Panionios 3-0 behind closed doors at the Olympic Stadium. Antonis Petropoulos scored a brace toward the end after Lazaros Christodoulopoulos had opened the score just after the restart.

Atromitos and PAOK shared a goalless draw in the game between third and fourth, but fifth-placed AEK lost 2-1 at PAS Giannina, which must now feel safe from relegation.

OFI has all but sealed the relegation of Panetolikos with a 1-0 win at Iraklio and Doxa Dramas, which has already gone down, drew 1-1 at Thessaloniki with Ergotelis.

The Aris vs Asteras match was abandoned after a bottle hurled by fans hit an assistant referee. This is the first time a female referee has been attacked in the top flight. Aris is now threatened with a three-point deduction.

The match between Levadiakos and Xanthi did not start due to strong winds. The Super League decide to reschedule the game for Monday.
