Panos Kammenos, leader of the newly-formed Independent Greeks party, reiterated his party's stance for no post-election cooperation with PASOK or New Democracy. “Samaras belongs in the past, just like New Democracy and PASOK,” he said speaking on Skai TV on Wednesday. Kammenos, whose anti-bailout party ranked as joint-fourth with 11 percent in a recent Public Issue poll, proposed the re-nationalization of the Bank of Greece and the establishment of a new Greek investment bank to protect Greek state properties from the country's creditors, as part of his economic proposals.
