OPAP stock decline leads bourse south

The stock of gaming company OPAP dropped to an historic low on Monday on the Athens bourse, dragging with it most blue chips in another session of thin trade as doubts grow regarding the course of the country’s economy.

OPAP dropped 3.26 percent to 4.15 euros, but Viohalco and Motor Oil fared even worse, down 5.03 and 5 percent respectively. Titan cement outperformed, adding 2.07 percent.

In total, 38 stocks recorded gains, 70 posted losses and 23 remained unchanged.

Turnover amounted to 27.8 million euros, down from last Friday’s 59.6 million.
