The two girls were caught while fleeing a house they had been in the process of burgling, though their 10-year-old accomplice managed to elude arrest.
The group is believed to be behind at least 10 break-ins in the past month, while authorities are also questioning a 38-year-old man over charges that he helped them sell stolen valuables.
Also on Thursday, police in Athens arrested a gang of six Georgian nationals believed to be behind at least 54 burglaries in and around the capital.
