A 30-year-old man was killed and his 32-year-old brother was seriously injured early on Saturday when unidentified robbers opened fire on them outside their home in Kesariani, eastern Athens, shortly after 4 a.m. on Saturday.

According to police, the siblings were awoken by the sound of the alarm of their car, which had been set off by the robbers.
They rushed to the ground floor, opened the front door to the apartment block and were sprayed with bullets by the attackers, who remained at large late on Monday.
