A 15-year-old who was kidnapped by two men on Evia, north of Athens, on Thursday morning was found safe and well on Thursday night. According to reports, he was set free in the Drosia area of Halkida. The boy was on his way to school in the town of Halkida when he was snatched off the street and forced into a van.
According to reports, the boy’s father, a bank manager, was later contacted by the kidnappers, who demanded ransom in the form of account information of a number of the bank’s clients.
The circumstances of the boy’s release were not clear.
