Police had earlier linked the bloodless attacks with journalists’ positions on Greece’s bailout and economic crisis. The organization called for other groups to carry out more attacks. “The more of us there are, the more dangerous we will be,” said the group, which claimed an attack on ex-Finance Minister Yiannos Papantoniou’s house in December.
Early on Saturday, New Democracy offices in the Athens neighborhoods of Argyroupoli, Glyfada and Kypseli were attacked with incendiary devices. Bricks were thrown at a PASOK office in Glyfada.
