Aghios Antonios metro station in Athens was expected to remain closed to the public over the weekend due to a series of signalling system tests scheduled in view of the upcoming opening of two new metro stations in the areas of Peristeri and Anthoupoli.


The metro station was also scheduled to remain closed on March 2-3.

Aghios Dimitrios metro station was closing from 12.30 a.m. to 2.30 a.m. on Saturday, with trains terminating at Dafni. The station will also close during the same time next Saturday.
