Similar operations were launched earlier in the week in Messinia where 84 people were arrested, while 71 people were remanded by police for questioning following operations carried out in Roma camps in Corinth and Argos on Monday.
According to police reports, officers checked 943 people and 619 vehicles, while those arrested faced charges for being in possession of drugs and weapons, stealing electricity and conducting sanitary violations.
During the operations police confiscated weapons, drugs and cannabis trees, among others.
