The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds was 866 basis points in the Greek electronic secondary bond market, with the Greek bond yielding 11.79 pct and the German Bund 3.13 pct. Turnover in the market was a low 29 million euros, of which 20 million were sell orders and the remaining 9.0 million euros were buy orders. The five-year benchmark bond was the most heavily traded security with a turnover of 7.0 million euros.

In interbank markets, interest rates were mixed. The 12-month rate rose to 1.73 pct, the six-month rate was unchanged at 1.35 pct, the three-month rate fell to 1.07 pct and the one-month rate was 0.86 pct.
