An investigative magistrate in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, has given the 20-year-old alleged murderer of a 25-year-old air stewardess more time to prepare his defense.

The suspect, who has allegedly already confessed to killing the woman, a former girlfriend, before abandoning her body near the Athens-Thessaloniki highway, is set to appear before a court on Monday.

The suspect, whose name has not been made public by the authorities, faces murder charges.
