A 35-year-old fugitive from the Trikala Prison in central Greece was arrested in Glyfada, southern Athens, over the weekend.
The inmate, who had been serving an 11-year prison term for a series of robberies, had failed to return to the correctional facility from a five-day furlough which was granted in December 2012.
