A draft law submitted to Parliament on Friday by the Justice Ministry aims to improve the rights of suspects by making it obligatory for them to be provided with interpreters and translations of documents during the judicial process.

Anyone arrested will have to be given a document detailing their rights, with a translation of the text being made available to suspects who do not know Greek.
