The special meeting of the National Foreign Policy Council (ESEP), which was convened following an invitation by Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas, came to an end late on Friday night.

The issues preoccupying the participants, who represented the Parliamentary parties with the exception of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), which does not participate, were developments in Libya and the wider region of North Africa, as well as the results of the recent visit to Athens by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

No statements were made at the end of the meeting.
