The allocation of 9.5 million euros to repair roads damaged during strong earthquakes on Cephalonia in January and February was approved on Friday.

Infrastructure Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis gave the go-ahead for the money to be spent on fixing damage to the road between the Ionian island’s capital, Argostoli, and the town of Lixouri.

The ministry also agreed to spend another 3.7 million euros on repair work at Lixouri’s harbor and at a marina in Legatata.
