Police in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, confirmed on Thursday that a 32-year-old man arrested after trying to elude a routine traffic check is wanted in Albania in connection with two murders.

The 32-year-old Albanian national was riding a motorcycle, along with an unidentified passenger, when he sped away from a traffic check, prompting officers to take chase.
He was apprehended shorty after in the area of Diavaton after putting up a fight.
A check of his details revealed that an international warrant had been issued for his arrest by Albanian authorities who suspect him of committing two murders in the neighboring country, among other charges.
He will be extradited to Albania to face trial.
His passenger managed to evade arrest.
