Suppliers of orthopedic materials on Tuesday announced that they are once more suspending deliveries to state hospitals in order to put pressure on the government to pay outstanding debts.

The nationwide association of orthopedic suppliers has decided to stop deliveries by stages, starting with the biggest hospitals like Evangelismos, the Nikaia General State Hospital and the Athens General Hospital George Gennimatas.

Suppliers are pressing for overdue payments owed to them since March 2010.
