Deputy Employment and Social Solidarity Minister Anna Dalara, speaking on Tuesday in the framework of the EXPOSEC 2011 Conference and Exhibition on security and defence issues, on the theme of "Illegal immigration-Immigrant influx management-Border security", said prevention, suitable welcoming structures and the strong institutional framework on handling illegal imigrants is the triptych of Greek immigration policy.

Dalara said that policing and deportations are not enough and that an organised and integrated policy is necessary for the management of immigration flows and the handling of the problem as a purely European one, while pointing to the European Parliament's recent decision on the need for revising Dublin II.
