One Bangladeshi man was injured and another arrested in Nea Manolada in the Peloponnese following an altercation between immigrant workers late on Friday.
Police said on Saturday that a worker reported at the local police precinct that he had been assaulted by four men who he met to settle financial differences.
He claimed that three of the men held him down while a fourth stole 2,000 euros in cash from him.
The incident was witnessed by a relative of the victim, who intervened but was pushed to the ground by one of the attackers.
He suffered injuries during his fall and had to be taken to Patra University Hospital.
Police said they arrested a 29-year-old Bangladeshi man and are searching for the other three suspects.
