A year after two members of neofascist Golden Dawn were shot dead outside the party’s offices in Neo Iraklio, north of Athens, police sources admitted that they have no leads to the killers.

“Although the perpetrators made mistakes, they were lucky as they did not leave adequate evidence to reveal their identities,” a police official told Kathimerini.

A guerrilla group called Militant Popular Revolutionary Forces claimed responsibility for the murders of Giorgos Fountoulis, 26, and Manolis Kapelonis, 22. GD supporters are planning a rally at the spot of the killings on Saturday.
