Two weeks after the arrest of convicted November 17 terrorist Christodoulos Xeros, authorities at Domokos Prison in central Greece, have warned that recent transfers to the facility’s maximum-security wing pose a threat to “order.”

Xeros, who was arrested near Athens earlier this month after a year on the run, is being held in a cell next to Nikos Maziotis, head of the Revolutionary Struggle terrorist group. The two are believed to have collaborated when they were both fugitives last year.

Meanwhile, members of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire urban guerrilla group, as well as a convict believed to have financed Xeros’s arsenal, are set to be moved into the same wing.

In a letter to the Justice Ministry, prison authorities warned that “because of the particularities of these inmates, they must not be moved to the same wing in the interests of order and security of the facility.”
