Emporiki Bank on Tuesday announced the opening of three new branches in Attica, Thessaloniki and Andros as part of a plan to modernize and restructure its branch network in the country. The bank said it will open the new units in Lykovrysi, Attica, Kordelio Thessaloniki and in Chora, Andros, based on the international retail banking model used by its parent Credit Agricole.

Emporiki Bank said it expected to have completed the modernization of 1/3 of its branches by the end of the year. A total of 50 units were currently operating under the new model.
