Two Moroccan nationals, 22 and 23, were arrested in Hania, on the island of Crete, on Friday accused of stealing tons of copper cables from a Public Power Corp. (PPC) construction site in Mournies earlier in the month. According to police, the two had taken part in the armed robbery and had made off with a PPC truck loaded with 10 tons of copper cables worth roughly 60,000 euros.
