Stocks lower on Monday

Stocks plummeted on Monday at the Athens Stock Exchange, reversing Friday's bullish gains, with the composite index of the market decreasing 3.80 pct to end at 1,254.02 points. Turnover was a low 56.49 million euros. The Big Cap index jumped 2.52 pct, the Mid Cap index rose 2.58 pct and the Small Cap index ended 0.35 pct higher.

Broadly, advancers trailed decliners by 54 to 81 with another 44 issues unchanged.

Food & Beverages: +0.35%
Health: +3.21%
Utilities: -1.38%
Chemicals: -0.61%
Financial Services: -4.91%

The stocks with the highest turnover were National Bank, OPAP, EFG Eurobank Ergasias, OTE and Alpha Bank.
