Bulgaria has made extraordinary electric power exports to Greece over the past two days amounting to 2,200 megawatts, as a result of the strike by Public Power Corporation employees. This was announced on Tuesday by Bulgaria's relevant organisation for managing the energy system.
Bulgaria's normal exports to Greece amount to 500 megawatts, according to the organisation. It also announced that the daily consumption of electric power in Bulgaria itself has increased with about 100 megawatts in the past days due to the increase in temperatures.
