A Democratic Alliance party delegation on Wednesday met with representatives of the EC-ECB-IMF "troika" to brief them on the alternative medium-term programme unveiled by party leader Dora Bakoyannis, a Parliament deputy and former foreign minister who formed the party recently after being expelled from main opposition New Democracy (ND) party.
The Democratic Alliance proposal was adopted by the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe - the ALDE Group -- this week.
