A couple was found murdered on Monday in their residence in Veria, northwestern Greece.
The couple's son discovered the bodies of the 73-year-old businessman and the 69-year old woman in different rooms, tied hand and foot and with head wounds and injuries on other parts of the bodies.

According to the coroner's report, the man died from head injuries while the woman died of asphyxiation.
The motive for the double murder is unknown.
