The September contract on the FTSE 20 index was trading at a premium of 0.70 pct in the Athens Derivatives Exchange on Monday, with turnover remaining a low 32.519 million euros.
Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 10,328 contracts worth 28.218 million euros, with 28,016 short positions in the market. Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 14,935 contracts worth 4.301 million euros, with investment interest focusing on Piraeus Bank’s contracts (4,411), followed by Eurobank (716), OTE (337), OPAP (481), National Bank (3,439), Alpha Bank (903), Mytilineos (222), Hellenic Postbank (247) and ATEbank (3,007).
