The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds widened slightly to 13.84 pct in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Monday, from 13.80 pct last week, with the Greek bond yielding 16.72 pct and the German Bund 2.86 pct. Turnover in the market was a low 13 million euros, all sell orders. The five-year benchmark bond was the most heavily traded security of the day, with a turnover of 11 million euros.
In interbank markets, interest rates were largely unchanged. The 12-month rate was 2.14 pct, the six-month rate was 1.74 pct, the three-month rate 1.52 pct and the one-month rate 1.31 pct.
