The September contract on the FTSE 20 index was trading at a premium of 0.47 pct in the Athens Derivatives Exchange on Tuesday, with turnover remaining a low 32.494 million euros. Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 9,024 contracts worth 25.459 million euros, with 28,789 short positions in the market.
Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 16,845 contracts worth 7.035 million euros, with investment interest focusing on National Bank’s contracts (5,859), followed by Eurobank (2,579), OTE (889), OPAP (1,051), Piraeus Bank (729), Alpha Bank (1,730), Cyprus Bank (573), Hellenic Postbank (395) and ATEbank (1,229).
