The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds fell to 13.84 pct in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Tuesday, from 13.84 pct on Monday, with the Greek bond yielding 16.36 pct and the German Bund 2.92 pct. Turnover in the market fell to a disappointing low 8.0 million euros, equally divided between buy and sell orders. The 32-year benchmark bond and the 10-year bond were the most heavily traded securities with turnovers of 2.0 and 4.0 million euros, respectively.
In interbank markets, interest rates were mixed. The 12-month rate was 2.14 pct, the six-month rate 1.77 pct, the three-month 1.53 pct and the one-month rate 1.31 pct.
