Archbishop Ieronymos addresses letters to FinMin, BoG governor

Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos has addressed letters to Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos and Bank of Greece Governor George Provopoulos, referring to what he calls "woes of the Greeks."
The Archbishop stressed that "many people have reached their limits and whatever further pressure can cause many woes," while making proposals for the "relief of the Greeks from the pain of the new measures," as he said in his letters. He points out that "we cannot be indifferent when so many young people are sceptical and are experiencing uncertainty, betrayal and sometimes the indignation of our fellow men as well."
The proposals made by the Archbishop include the strengthening of measures for growth and sustainable entrepreneurship and the reconsideration of the strict tax framework with the criterion of equal participation in the elimination of the national debt
