Foreign Minister Stavros Lambrinidis, currently on a visit to Montenegro, on Thursday underlined that “is important for the Balkan region countries to be free of nationalisms and border conflicts and be able to claim the place they deserve in Europe.”
Addressing the South Eastern European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Ministerial and Summit Meeting in Budva, he underlined that Greece will overcome the crisis and will continue the efforts for the European integration of the western Balkan countries.

The foreign minister also stressed that when Greece takes over the EU Presidency in 2014 it will host a new EU-Balkan summit in the northern port city of Thessaloniki.
