Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, in a letter he addressed to European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso on Thursday, notifies that the Greek Parliament has approved the Medium-Term Fiscal Strategy Programme and its implementing legislation, asking at the same time from the European Union and the IMF to start the procedures for Greece's financing.
The Greek premier also suggested the postponment, either provisionally or definitely, of the Greece's participation in the funding of the community' funds for the 2011-2013 period for countries that are facing economic problems such as Greece.
The Greek premier also proposed five axes regarding the Greek economy's recovery throught the absorption of community funds which should aim at reinforcing growth.
