Burglars targeted a jewelry shop in Neo Faliro, near Piraeus, at dawn on Friday, for the second time in three weeks and using the same method.
The burglars, at around 4:30 a.m., tied the store's shutters to a stolen van and tore them away, and made off with an unknown number of valuables in a second vehicle, abandoning the stolen van at the scene of the crime.
A similar break-in had taken place at the same jewelry shop on June 22, again using a stolen car. The burglars had made off with jewelry valued at 50,000 euros at the time, according to the owner.
