Two Moroccan nationals, 22 and 23, were arrested in Hania, on the island of Crete, on Friday accused of stealing tons of copper cables from a Public Power Corp. (PPC) construction site in Mournies earlier in the month.
Two Moroccan nationals, 22 and 23, were arrested in Hania, on the island of Crete, on Friday accused of stealing tons of copper cables from a Public Power Corp. (PPC) construction site in Mournies earlier in the month. According to police, the two had taken part in the armed robbery and had made off with a PPC truck loaded with 10 tons of copper cables worth roughly 60,000 euros.
