The head of Greece's intelligence service (EYP), Theodoros Dravillas, has denied allegations that the agency has been tapping lawmakers during his tenure, Skai reported quoting unnamed sources.

Dravillas on Thursday faced the Parliament’s ethics committee to be questioned by lawmakers about the agency’s operations following reports suggesting that officials of the main leftist opposition SYRIZA were being wiretapped.

Dravillas reportedly said that EYP equipment does not record conversations, only that a call took place between two numbers.
