The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds widened significantly to 14.67 pct in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Friday, from 14.13 pct on Thursday, with the Greek bond yielding 17.34 pct and the German Bund 2.67 pct. Turnover in the market remained a disappointing low 7.0 million euros, of which 6.0 million were sell orders and the remaining 1.0 million were buy orders.
In interbank markets, interest rates were largely unchanged. The 12-month rate was 2.17 pct, the six-month rate 1.81 pct, the three-month 1.60 pct and the one-month rate 1.45 pct.
