A delegation of MEPs from the European Parliament's Committee of Regional Policy on Friday concluded a three-day tour of Macedonia and Epirus in the northwestern Greek city of Ioannina.
The MEPs called for solutions to lift bureaucratic obstacles and accelerate projects funded by EU programmes, while they also reported a positive climate in the EU Parliament to the decision to raise funding for programmes in Greece to 95 percent.
The delegation on Friday inspected projects partly funded by the EU in Epirus, such as the Egnatia Highway and the new wing of the Hatzikosta hospital in Ioannina.
