The September contract on the FTSE 20 index was trading at a discount of 0.63 pct in the Athens Derivatives Exchange on Wednesday, with turnover shrinking to 14.947 million euros. Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 4,568 contracts worth 11.747 million euros, with 29,689 short positions in the market.
Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 9,229 contracts worth 3.200 million euros, with investment interest focusing on National Bank’s contracts (3,717), followed by Eurobank (689),
PPC (262), Piraeus Bank (1,248), Alpha Bank (986), Mytilineos (721), Cyprus Bank (337) and ATEbank (599).
