KKE calls for parliamentary discussion on eurozone summit decisions

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) on Tuesday called for a discussion in parliament on the decisions taken on the Greek economy at last week's extraordinary eurozone summit in Brussels, independent of the prime minister's announced intention to hold separate meetings with the opposition party leaders to brief them on the summit.
In a written statement issued Tuesday, the KKE said: "Independent of the prime minister's intention to meet with the political leaders, it is necessary that a briefing and discussion takes place in parliament on the agreement reached at the EU summit that mortgages the future of the people and the youth for 40 years with barbarous long-term measures."
