The September contract on the FTSE 20 index was trading at a premium of 0.98 pct in the Athens Derivatives Exchange on Thursday, with turnover shrinking to 20.906 million euros. Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 5,585 contracts worth 14.858 million euros, with 30,733 short positions in the market. Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 16,615 contracts worth 6.084 million euros, with investment interest focusing on National Bank’s contracts (5,978), followed by Eurobank (1,445), PPC (884), Piraeus Bank (1,845), Alpha Bank (2,130), ATEbank (1,509), Cyprus Bank (511), OPAP (481) and Mytilineos (352).
