Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 5,076 contracts worth 12.102 million euros, with 30,453 short positions in the market. Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 22,331 contracts worth 5.969 million euros, with investment interest focusing on Piraeus Bank’s contracts (5,327), followed by Eurobank (2,575), National Bank (4,769), Alpha Bank (2,680), ATEbank (1,222), Mytilineos (680), Cyprus Bank (719), PPC (821), MIG (540), OTE (665) and Marfin Popular Bank (1,012).
