A cannabis plantation was destroyed in Vrahassi, Lassithi prefecture on the south Aegean island of Crete, police said on Friday. Acting on a tip-off, authorities found the plantation in a remote mountainous region. A total of 588 cannabis plants, up to 2.5 meters tall, were uprooted, while 119 dried plants were also found next to the plantation.
Police confiscated the plants, farm tools, an automatic watering system and fertilizers.
