Financial News: Mixed session for Athens bourse

A seesaw session on Wednesday at the Athens Stock Exchange finally ended with a marginal loss of 0.17 percent, with the general index of the market closing at 1.010.76 points.  
Turnover was a low 43.692 million euros.

The Big Cap index lost 0.62 pct, the Mid Cap index ended 1.97 pct higher and the Small Cap index gained 1.42 pct.

The sectors of Media (7.69 pct), Trade (7.66 pct) and Insurance (5.00 pct) scored the strongest gains, while Utilities (-2.47 pct) and Personal Goods (-2.39 pct) suffered the heaviest percentage losses of the day. Broadly, decliners trailed advancers by 38 to 81 with another 47 issues unchanged.
