An assessment of the course of the economy, as well as issues concerning the implementation of the Medium-Term programme, also in light of the troika's arrival, were the focus, according to reports, of talks held between Prime Minister George Papandreou and government Vice President and Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos at the Maximos Mansion on Wednesday.
According to the same reports, the prime minister and the finance minister also made a political evaluation of the meeting between French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
