Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos, responding to reactions caused on the occasion of guarantees being called for by Austria, the Netherlands and Slovakia for the new loan package to Greece, accused the opposition of frivolity and irresponsibility, stressing that "for as long as this difficult and delicate negotia-ting is lasting, it is at least frivolous and irresponsible for forces of the opposition to run ahead, speak of danger and rejoice because problems exist, as if this is something new or unexpec-ted."
