Greek bond market closing report

Turnover in the Greek electronic secondary bond market shrank to a low 1.0 million euros on Friday, as the market awaits. monetary developments in the US amid worries over a slow pace of implementing EU decisions on dealing with an EU debt problem. The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds widened to 15.23 pct from 15.01 pct on Thursday, with the Greek bond yielding 17.24 pct, while the German Bund yielded 2.01 pct. The two-year Greek benchmark bond yield reached an historic-high of more than 47 pct.
In interbank markets, interest rates were largely unchanged. The 12-month rate was 2.08 pct, the six-month rate 1.74 pct, the three-month 1.54 pct and the one-month rate 1.35 pct.
